Colleges unite to help high school students decide what school will be right fit for them.
Sunday, the University of Nebraska- Kearney offered a one–stop shop for students looking to go to college. Organizers say events like this help narrow down the options, especially for those who may not be able to visit many campuses in person.
Though it may sound strange for UNK to host other schools, organizers say these colleges all have the same goal.
"There are so many college choices and there are so many factors that go into the decision that of course they all have their own hopes and dreams that students attend their institution," said Education Quest's Stacy Seim. "But they do a great job working together, trying to help students make the best choices for them."
Schools from as far away as Oklahoma and Missouri were represented at the college fair, which was sponsored by EducationQuest.
