About a dozen people learned how to make Ukrainian Easter eggs at the Chocolate Bar in Grand Island Sunday.
Instructor and barista Lauren Ritta said the eggs are made with bees wax and usually are more ornate than the typical American ones.
Also, instead of pastel colors, they're normally yellow, orange, red and black.
The Chocolate Bar has been hosting Sip and Skill events like this in 2014.
"The more activities like this we host and the more involved we are in the community, we hope we can kind of drag people down off the [Highway] 281 corridor so they rediscover their own town, their downtown," said Ritta.
Each participant made two eggs to take home.
