A Kearney man has been accused of using counterfeit money.

David Reed, 20, was arrested Monday night after allegedly trying to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill.

Authorities say Reed also used counterfeit money at other locations around Kearney and seized counterfeit money from his home.

Reed has been charged with five counts of felony forgery and one count of possession of a forged instrument and remained at the Buffalo County Jail Wednesday.
