Alleged late night threats have landed a North Platte man behind bars.

North Platte Police officers got a report of a man with a knife at just before 1 a.m. Friday on the 1100 block of E. 5th St.

According to police, the 24-year-old alleged victim said he came over to Wade Krahulik’s house to try to work out a personal issue the two men had over Krahulik’s girlfriend. The unnamed victim said that 46-year-old Krahulik stormed out of his house and threatened him with a foot-long buck knife and then went back inside and started arguing with his girlfriend.

The 24-year-old then told police that Krahulik came back outside and threatened to shoot him but said he never saw a gun on him.

Police arrested Krahulik for Felony Terroristic Threats and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony. He was taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center where he was held on a $50,000 bond.
