Mother, Son Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on I-80

Alda, NE - A California woman remains in the hospital in stable condition after a roll-over crash on Interstate 80 Saturday.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the 67-year-old driver was headed west near the Alda exit around 3:00 p.m. when she drove on the rumble bar, over-corrected and rolled her SUV.

The jaws of life were used to get the driver out.

She and her 28-year-old son were taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.

He has since been released, according to the hospital.

Westbound interstate traffic was stopped for a few minutes.
