Kearney Attorney Selected as 9th Judicial District County Court Judge

Gov. Dave Heineman has selected John Rademacher of Kearney to serve as a county judge in the 9th Judicial District, which includes Buffalo and Hall counties.

The 43-year-old Rademacher has been an attorney and partner at Tye & Rademacher in Kearney since 1996. He also has served as deputy public defender for Buffalo County. 

Rademacher is a member of the Kearney Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the boards of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and the American Red Cross Fort Kearney Chapter.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law and has been a member of the Nebraska Bar Association since 1996.

Rademacher will fill the seat left vacant by the retirement of Judge Graten Beavers.
