A golfer who turned pro right out of college, Richter started golfing when she was 9 years old. Being a team player in a lonely sport wasn't easy and she made the tough decision of pursuing another career. After working her way up from a counter manager to account executive at Lancome, she took over the helm as Director of Sales and Marketing for a Southern California based golf company. Growing the business from $60,000 to over $300,000 in 9 months dealing with the corporate market, and taking their booth to the ASI trade show one year is when she got a real taste of what the promotional products industry was like.

Speaking about what sets Wearable Imaging, Inc. apart from their competition, Richter said, "We offer products that are going to help you stand out and get you noticed. It's not so much about the product, but about the strategy and how you can get maximum exposure for your brand. We enjoy thinking of creative ways to display your brand around a theme and love saying to our client, "If we don't have it, you don't need it!"

From the top 3 tips for distributors looking to break into the industry, strengthening their presence and their current challenge, to working with women owned businesses who are changing the face of the economy, Richter offered valuable insights into the industry. Having played in countless charity golf tournaments and business golf functions, she is an expert in the field. More information about her and the company is available here.
