The July 8 webinar from Federal Fund Management Advisor will provide a systematic review of the key elements of the new Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement, and demonstrate how organizations can use it to improve their grants management and audit readiness.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 26, 2014

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) recently rolled out the latest annual version of its Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement guidance for those who perform audits required under the Single Audit Act. The July 8 Federal Fund Management Advisor webinar, How to Use OMBs 2014 Compliance Supplement for Single Audit Preparedness, will provide participants with a systematic review designed to clarify the key elements of the Supplement and how theyll be employed in an audit. An added program bonus will be an assessment of OMBs preview of the 2015 Compliance Supplement, which will be the first one to capture the new and revised grants administration and cost allowability principles emerging from OMBs federal grant reform initiative.

Federal grants expert Bob Lloyd will provide 60 minutes of presentations followed by 30 minutes dedicated to individual questions. Participants will learn:

  • How do auditors use the Matrix of Compliance Requirements to tailor the scope of an audit?
  • What cross-cutting requirements affecting all federal grant programs will be tested?
  • How do these cross-cutting requirements line up with the sections covering over 200 different federal aid programs?
  • What are clusters of programs and how does testing of them differ?
  • What types of documentation will the auditors be looking for?
  • How does the Supplements guidance on internal control work?
  • What new or revised requirements will the Supplement contain beginning in 2015?
