(the “Company” or “MamaMancini’s”) (OTCBB: MMMB), an emerging manufacturer and marketer of specialty pre-prepared, frozen and refrigerated “all natural” food products (as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture), announced today that since June 2014, the Company has received new initial orders and distributions with the following accounts: URM, a wholesaler to independent stores in Oregon and Washington State; Certco, a wholesaler to independent stores in Wisconsin and Iowa; Jewel Stores, a retailer (division of SuperValu) in Illinois and Indiana; Associated Wholesale Grocers, a wholesaler located in Louisiana; Piggly Wiggly, a co-operative of Alabama; the Los Angeles Division of Costco (partial distribution); Brookshire Grocers, a retailer located in Texas; and Kings Supermarkets, a retailer located in NJ.
These accounts represent approximately 3,300 additional locations in supermarket shelves which brings the Company’s total placements of its products to 29,300 shelves across the United States.
Additionally, the Company believes that it will receive expanded orders from Walmart, Spartan Stores (Michigan), Wakefern (Midatlantic), and Unified Grocers of Northern California, totaling 4,000 locations on retailers’ shelves, by August 2014. This would bring MamaMancini’s products onto over 33,000 locations on retailers’ shelves at that time.
