OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - The mother of a man convicted of killing four people in Omaha last summer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
U.S. District Judge Laurie Smith Camp ordered on Tuesday that 47-year-old Lori Jenkins serve two 10-year sentences at the same time.
Jenkins was found guilty in April on two counts of being a felon in possession of ammunition. She was accused of illegally buying ammunition that her son, Nikko Jenkins, used in the killings of four people last summer.
Lori Jenkins is awaiting trial in Douglas County District Court on three counts of being an accessory to the shootings. Court records do not list an attorney.
