The Howard County Sheriff says a rural Dannebrog man charged with possessing stolen property could be involved with other burglaries in the area.
Sheriff Harold Schenck says on Friday deputies were serving a felony warrant from Hall County on Travis Spilinek, 35, of rural Dannebrog, and saw stolen items and three firearms.
Schenck says Spilinek now faces possession of stolen property and felon in possession of a firearm charges in Howard County, as well as the failure to appear and probation violation charges the Hall County warrant was for.
Schenck says they are investigating if Spilinek and the stolen property are involved with two other suspects they arrested last week for a string of rural burglaries. Their names have not been released, and authorities are still looking for a third suspect in that case.
