Opens Offices in These Biotech Hubs; Adds Two New Regional Sales Managers
EAST LYME, Conn., Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Laboratory Trading (ALT) Inc., the largest seller of pre-owned laboratory equipment in North America, announced today that it has opened sales offices in the biotech hubs of San Diego, California, and the Research Triangle in North Carolina. The company also announced that it has hired two new regional sales managers to serve those markets: Zackary Prag in San Diego, and Zach Heyl in Raleigh-Durham. The new locations bring the number of regional offices to four, after the company expanded to San Francisco and Cambridge, Massachusetts last year.
According to ALT COO, Jayson Bernstein, "We have a large and growing customer base in all of the major U.S. biotech clusters. It's important for us to have representatives on the ground to better meet those customers' needs when they make critical equipment-buying or selling decisions for their labs. Both Zack Prag and Zach Heyl bring years of experience with lab equipment sales and acquisitions in their respective markets, and their addition to our team will help solidify ALT as the most trusted name in used lab equipment."
ALT takes pride in making reliable used lab equipment available to its customers at affordable prices. Prior to shipping, all equipment is fully tested and serviced at its Connecticut facility, where ALT has an experienced in-house engineering team. Then, as a testament to the reliability of the equipment it sells, each item is delivered with up to a one-year warranty-the most comprehensive warranty in the business.
