Calamus Outfitters - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

In this week's One Tank Trip, we take you about 110 miles north of the Tri-Cities near Burwell to the Calamus Outfitters.   

Adam Switzer began the outfitter in 2000 when the cattle industry was in a low, and has soared ever since. The Outfitter is run on the Switzer ranch, which has been in the family for over a century.

At the retreat, there are activities such as tanking down the Calamus River, horse trail rides, home cooked meals, and comfortable lodging. The Outfitter is a year-long business so anytime is a great time to see Nebraska's beauty.
